How to identify whether the change is physical or chemical?
1. Observe the properties:
- Check if there is a change in color, state, or shape only.
- If the original substance can be recovered, then it is a physical reversible change.
- Of original substance cannot be recovered, then it is a irreversible physical change.
2. Check for a new substance:
- If new substances are formed, such as gas or precipitate, it indicates a chemical change.
